Phantogram Gig Poster

Starting from collage work, I developed a poster design for the band Phantogram. I tried to use collage to create a composition that embodied the rhythm and motion of their sound. The method of using collage as a basis for the design echo’s the band’s own creative process as they use a large amount of audio samples collected from many different sources.
To further this effect I broke down the colors of the image further referencing the disjointed synthesis of their music.
