Mellifluous

Using audio editing software I subtracted various frequencies from a spectral frequency display to create visual typography that is embedded in sound itself. I chose the word mellifluous as it means “sweet or musical; pleasant to hear.” Like the comparison between the different realms of audio to visual, this word’s definition is in stark contrast to the nature of the audio clip, originating from harsh experimental Hip-hop.
